Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations with a focus on safety, quality, and timeliness
- Develop and implement strategic process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Lead, mentor, and optimize a cross-functional team of 15+ professionals
- Manage inventory control systems and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with sales and procurement to align operational goals with business objectives
- Analyze KPIs and data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate crisis response and contingency planning for operational disruptions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Management (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years in operations management with 2+ years team leadership experience
- Proven track record in process optimization and lean methodology implementation
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and ability to travel to satellite facilities
- Experience in logistics or distribution industry strongly preferred
