Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations and supply chain logistics
- Develop/implement process optimization strategies to reduce costs by 15%+
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ employees with mentorship focus
- Analyze KPIs and generate actionable performance reports
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and industry safety standards
- Coordinate vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or related field
- 5+ years progressive operations management experience
- Proven track record in supply chain optimization
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience managing teams in union/non-union environments
