Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple departments including logistics, inventory management, and distribution
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams through performance management and training programs
- Analyze KPIs and operational data to identify trends and drive data-driven decision making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow integration and compliance with industry standards
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize service delivery
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial targets are consistently met
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum 7 years of progressive operations management experience in logistics or distribution
- Proven track record of leading teams of 15+ professionals in fast-paced environments
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex operational data
- Experience with process optimization methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours including weekends as needed
