Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across warehouse, logistics, and distribution teams
- Develop/implement process improvements reducing costs by 15% annually
- Lead strategic planning for capacity expansion and technology integration
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service-level agreements
- Analyze KPIs and generate performance reports for executive leadership
- Ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and maintain safety standards
- Mentor 8+ direct reports through performance development plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or related field
- 5+ years progressive operations management experience in logistics/tech
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process optimization expertise
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data analytics
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams of 10+
- Demonstrated success in budget management and cost reduction initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Detroit's supply chain ecosystem preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
