Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations including inventory management, logistics coordination, and workflow optimization
- Develop and implement strategic process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Lead cross-functional teams through performance metrics, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational policies
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and drive data-driven decision making
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for operational services
- Coordinate with department heads to align operational goals with business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in operations management within manufacturing or logistics
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements with measurable results
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing teams of 10+ professionals
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desirable
- Deep understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and KPI development
