Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations including inventory control, warehouse efficiency, and last-mile delivery coordination
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Manage cross-functional teams (warehouse, transportation, customer service) with KPI-driven accountability
- Optimize resource allocation and vendor relationships to maximize cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Analyze operational data to forecast demand and mitigate supply chain risks
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and budget management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
- 5+ years progressive experience in logistics or distribution management
- Proven expertise in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capability
- OSHA 30-hour certification and DOT compliance knowledge
- Exceptional leadership abilities with team-building experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly valued
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
