Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the logistics department to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery.
- Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company goals.
- Manage budget allocation and forecasting, ensuring financial targets are met while optimizing resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and procurement, to align operational strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulatory compliance measures are strictly followed on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in operations management, logistics, or supply chain.
- Strong background in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating diverse teams.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
