Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage cross-functional teams of 15+ logistics professionals through performance coaching and development
- Collaborate with sales and procurement departments to align operational strategies with business goals
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Oversee budget management and cost reporting for operational departments
- Implement technology solutions for warehouse management system optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in logistics operations management
- Proven track record of optimizing warehouse operations and reducing operational costs
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in WMS and ERP systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification and DOT compliance knowledge
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing union and non-union teams
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
