Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals with accountability for performance metrics
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for transportation and storage services
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry safety regulations
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and operational scaling initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in operations management with P&L responsibility
- Proven track record of implementing lean methodologies and process optimization
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated team development success
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar designation preferred
- Experience managing unionized workforce and labor relations
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with Six Sigma/Black Belt certification a plus
