Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse/distribution operations ensuring KPIs are met
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs by 15%+
- Manage cross-functional teams (10+ staff) including hiring, training, and performance reviews
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and customer service departments
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
- Manage inventory systems and optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years in operations management with 2+ years in leadership
- Proven experience with WMS/TMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Excellent project management and problem-solving capabilities
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
