Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including inventory management, vendor coordination, and distribution logistics
- Develop and implement KPI-driven performance metrics to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Manage cross-departmental projects ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives
- Mentor and develop 10+ direct reports through performance coaching and talent development
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in operations leadership with 2+ years in team management
- Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma, process optimization, and inventory control systems
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP/MRP software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with track record of implementing scalable solutions
- Valid Michigan driver's license and willingness for occasional travel to vendor sites
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments preferred
- PMP or Six Sigma Black Belt certification highly desirable
