Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination
- Develop/implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs by 15%+
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ staff through performance management and training initiatives
- Analyze KPIs (OTIF, inventory accuracy, labor efficiency) and create actionable reports for executive leadership
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to optimize supply chain workflows
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in warehouse/distribution operations management
- Proven track record of reducing operational costs while improving service metrics
- Advanced proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and DOT hazmat familiarity
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience mentoring diverse teams
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends during peak seasons
