Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple departments including warehouse, procurement, and distribution
- Develop and implement strategic process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Manage cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals through performance metrics and KPI tracking
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure supply chain resilience
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, ISO 9001, and industry-specific regulations
- Lead budget forecasting and cost optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive operations management experience in manufacturing or logistics
- Proven expertise in process optimization and supply chain management
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools
- Excellent leadership skills with experience mentoring diverse teams
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of Midwest logistics networks and regulatory frameworks
