Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and shipping coordination
- Develop/implement SOPs to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs by 15%+
- Lead cross-functional teams (10+ staff) through performance management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve operational escalations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years in operations management with 2+ years in logistics/warehousing
- Proven experience with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and ERP software
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Exceptional leadership abilities with team development track record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
