Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of operations staff, conducting regular performance reviews and training sessions.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures that align with company goals and industry best practices.
- Manage the departmental budget, including forecasting, cost control, and resource allocation to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless workflow integration.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain leadership.
- Proven track record of managing large teams and complex operations in a high-volume environment.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process optimization and cost reduction.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various facility sites as needed.
