Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies to reduce costs by 15% annually
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of 15+ operations specialists
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries and cost efficiency
- Manage compliance with OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations
- Utilize WMS and ERP systems for data-driven decision making
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve operational bottlenecks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years in operations management with 3+ years in logistics/supply chain
- Proven experience implementing lean methodologies and Six Sigma principles
- Expertise in warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle WMS, Manhattan Active)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret KPIs and financial metrics
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Experience managing teams of 10+ professionals in fast-paced environments
