Responsibilities
- Lead Operational Excellence: Direct and coordinate all daily warehouse and logistics activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise a diverse team of warehouse staff, ensuring high morale and performance.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in operational procedures and implement lean manufacturing or supply chain best practices.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and manage stock control systems to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Budget Management: Monitor operational costs, manage the departmental budget, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or logistics, preferably within a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
