Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple departments, ensuring seamless workflow and resource optimization
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 15+ professionals
- Analyze KPIs and data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations for operational services
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term operational strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive operations management experience in logistics or manufacturing
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving process optimization
- Expertise in ERP systems and operational analytics tools (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making abilities
- Virginia Beach-based candidates preferred; local knowledge of regional logistics networks is a plus
