Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations including warehouse management and distribution networks
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies to reduce costs and improve service levels
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 15+ operational professionals
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and customer service teams for seamless operations
- Analyze KPIs and data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years in operations management with 3+ in logistics/supply chain
- Proven track record of optimizing operational efficiency and reducing costs
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP/WMS systems
- Exceptional leadership and team development capabilities
- Experience managing budgets and P&L responsibilities
- Knowledge of Memphis transportation networks and logistics advantages
- Lean Six Sigma or similar process certification a plus
