Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across warehouse, logistics, and distribution teams
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations
- Analyze KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and drive data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with finance to manage operational budgets and resource allocation
- Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in operations leadership within logistics/supply chain
- Proven track record of optimizing processes and reducing operational costs
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing diverse teams
- Knowledge of Atlanta's logistics landscape and transportation networks preferred
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
