Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end operational workflows including inventory control, logistics coordination, and vendor relationships
- Develop/implement process improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to reduce costs by 15%+ annually
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals in daily operations and strategic projects
- Analyze KPIs (OTD, inventory turnover, operational costs) and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations
- Collaborate with executive leadership on annual operational budgets and capacity planning
- Drive digital transformation initiatives within operations systems
- Manage crisis protocols and business continuity planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years progressive operations leadership experience in logistics or manufacturing
- Proven track record of optimizing complex supply chain processes
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and operational analytics tools
- Strong P&L management experience with $5M+ operational budgets
- OSHA/DOT compliance certification or equivalent knowledge
- Exceptional change management and team development skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
