Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations including warehouse management, inventory control, and distribution coordination
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
- Lead cross-functional teams of supervisors and technicians in achieving performance targets
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and implement data-driven solutions
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for operational services
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless fulfillment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive operations management experience in logistics or supply chain
- Proven track record of optimizing processes and reducing operational costs
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Expertise in Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and ability to travel between facilities
