Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including inventory management, logistics coordination, and vendor relationships
- Develop and execute strategic operational plans aligned with company growth objectives
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
- Manage 15+ cross-functional teams including warehouse, procurement, and distribution staff
- Analyze KPIs to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs by 15% annually
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and industry-specific regulations
- Coordinate with finance department for operational budget forecasting and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive operations management experience in distribution or manufacturing
- Proven track record implementing Six Sigma/Lean methodologies with quantifiable results
- Strong expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and warehouse management software
- Advanced data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL and Power BI
- Professional certifications (CPIM, CSCP, or PMP) highly valued
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing teams of 15+
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends for operational audits
