Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across warehousing, transportation, and distribution channels
- Develop and implement process improvement strategies using Lean methodologies
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for service optimization
- Analyze KPIs and performance metrics to identify operational bottlenecks
- Lead 15+ team members through training and performance management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations
- Collaborate with finance on budgeting and cost reduction initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in logistics operations management
- Proven expertise in process optimization and Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible shifts including weekends
- Advanced certifications (CPIM, CSCP) considered a significant advantage
