Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including warehouse management, inventory control, and last-mile delivery coordination
- Develop and implement KPI-driven performance metrics to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead cross-functional teams (warehouse, logistics, customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery
- Analyze operational data using advanced analytics tools to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with third-party logistics providers
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA, DOT, and NYC-specific regulations
- Drive sustainability initiatives to reduce carbon footprint in urban delivery networks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in operations management with 3+ in logistics/supply chain
- Proven track record of optimizing complex operational processes in urban environments
- Advanced proficiency in WMS, TMS, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making using BI tools
- PMP or Six Sigma certification required
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing 15+ direct reports
- Deep knowledge of NYC infrastructure, traffic patterns, and delivery regulations
