Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 15+ operations specialists
- Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process optimization and cost reduction
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements
- Generate and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or related field
- 5+ years in operations leadership with 2+ years in logistics/supply chain
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements (Lean/6 Sigma certified preferred)
- Strong proficiency in WMS/TMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience managing unionized teams is highly desirable
