Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including inventory management, logistics coordination, and vendor relationships
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals to achieve KPIs and SLAs
- Manage $5M+ operational budget with rigorous cost-control measures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align operations with company growth strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years progressive experience in operations leadership within logistics/distribution
- Proven expertise in process optimization and Lean Six Sigma certification
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million dollar budgets
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to lead diverse teams
- Track record of implementing successful operational transformation projects
- Valid Illinois driver's license and willingness for occasional travel
