Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and recording patient data.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in a respectful and professional manner.
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient symptoms, reactions, and progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and unit needs.
Qualifications
- Valid RN, LPN, or CNA license in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain one).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to patient safety and HIPAA compliance.
