Responsibilities
- Monitor system health and network performance using industry-standard tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Respond to and resolve critical incidents and alerts during the night shift.
- Execute scheduled maintenance tasks, patch deployments, and configuration changes.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in the knowledge base.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring technical problems.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the day-shift engineering team during handover periods.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) or Tier 2/3 technical support.
- Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and routing protocols.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly preferred.
- Availability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
