Responsibilities
- Manage 5-7 person night shift team including scheduling and performance reviews
- Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation processes
- Coordinate loading/unloading of ocean freight containers with port authorities
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize warehouse layout for 24-hour operational efficiency
- Generate nightly performance reports for management review
- Train new associates on warehouse management systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics
- Forklift certification and heavy machinery operation skills
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) like SAP or Oracle
- Strong problem-solving abilities for overnight operational challenges
- Excellent written communication for shift handover documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of international shipping documentation
