Responsibilities
- Oversee nightly warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Lead and mentor 10-15 night shift associates in performance and safety protocols
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency
- Conduct daily inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe working environment
- Coordinate cross-functional teams with day shift and transportation departments
- Generate nightly performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with night shift supervision
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong leadership skills with conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adjust schedule during peak seasons
