Responsibilities
- Oversee 10-15 night shift team members, including task delegation and performance coaching
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct daily inspections, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Optimize inventory management processes, including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations for 50+ daily shipments with 99% accuracy
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare shift reports and communicate with day shift leadership for seamless transitions
- Train staff on new equipment (RF scanners, forklifts, WMS systems)
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with night shift background
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make real-time decisions
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying temperature conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics preferred
