Responsibilities
- Oversee 10-15 night shift team members in receiving, inventory, and shipping operations
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance during overnight hours
- Optimize workflow efficiency using WMS systems and lean methodologies
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and performance evaluations
- Resolve operational challenges with minimal disruption to day shift
- Manage inventory accuracy and cycle count processes
- Collaborate with day shift supervisors for seamless handover
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with night shift oversight
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Basic data analysis for performance reporting
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred
