Responsibilities
- Oversee all overnight warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates with performance metrics
- Implement lean inventory management systems to reduce waste and improve accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and inventory control teams
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe working environment during night shifts
- Analyze operational data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop contingency plans for operational disruptions during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in night shift leadership
- Proven expertise in WMS systems and warehouse automation technologies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI-driven operational optimization
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation proficiency
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities for overnight operational challenges
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours
