Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues for internal and external clients during night operations.
- Perform nightly security audits, system backups, and patch management to ensure data integrity.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity problems using remote tools and on-site support.
- Manage and prioritize incoming support tickets with a focus on rapid resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and procedures in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless handover of critical tasks and projects.
- Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on servers and workstations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT technical support or help desk operations.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting.
- Must be available and willing to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical degree is preferred.
