Apex Global Solutions is looking for a dedicated Night Shift Systems Engineer to ensure the stability and performance of our critical infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, network traffic, and application performance via automated tools and manual checks.
- Respond to and resolve critical Level 2/3 technical incidents during off-business hours.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity and system security.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy code and troubleshoot environment-specific issues.
- Generate and analyze overnight performance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Systems Administration or DevOps Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Ability to work independently and effectively during night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
