Responsibilities
- Monitor server health and network performance 24/7, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact users.
- Execute scheduled system patches, backups, and maintenance tasks during low-traffic windows to minimize downtime.
- Respond to and resolve critical Level 2/3 tickets escalated from the day shift team.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols to ensure data integrity.
- Document all incident reports, system changes, and maintenance logs in the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system architecture and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in Systems Administration or IT Support.
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory).
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell or Bash) is a major plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a quiet environment.
- Willingness to commit to a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
