Responsibilities
- System Maintenance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve critical system issues during off-peak hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Code Optimization: Refactor legacy codebases to improve performance, security, and scalability without disrupting day operations.
- Deployment & CI/CD: Execute automated deployments, manage version control, and oversee release pipelines.
- Incident Response: Lead the technical response to outages and perform root cause analysis (RCA) on production incidents.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for all night operations and architectural changes.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless handovers and transition of technical requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Software Engineering or Systems Administration.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#. Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to diagnose complex technical problems under pressure.
- Tools: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Git.
