As a critical member of our infrastructure team, you will ensure the 24/7 availability of our core systems, optimize performance during off-peak hours, and lead technical troubleshooting initiatives. Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of on-premise and cloud infrastructure during the night shift.
- Execute critical system patches, updates, and backups to ensure business continuity.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with the on-site engineering team during shift handovers to document incidents and solutions.
- Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard sensitive data.
- Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning for server resources.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration or DevOps.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) for automation.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
