- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges during overnight shifts
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Communicate critical patient updates to on-call physicians and specialists
- Oversee medication reconciliation and inventory management
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
- Collaborate with day-shift staff for seamless care transitions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field
- 2+ years of clinical or administrative healthcare experience
- EMR/EHR proficiency (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Massachusetts healthcare worker credentials
- Experience with overnight shift scheduling preferred
