Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges during overnight hours
- Monitor critical patient vitals and escalate emergencies to on-call physicians
- Manage electronic health records with 100% accuracy and HIPAA compliance
- Synchronize care plans with day-shift teams using handoff protocols
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Maintain sterile environments and equipment readiness
- Document all patient interactions in real-time using Epic EMR systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Medical Assisting (required)
- 2+ years clinical experience in hospital/urgent care setting
- BLS/ACLS certification (current)
- Exceptional communication skills during high-pressure situations
- Advanced proficiency in EMR documentation systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven track record of night shift reliability
- Georgia nursing license or medical assistant certification
