Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges during overnight hours
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Facilitate communication between night staff physicians and patients
- Monitor patient vitals and escalate concerns to on-call physicians
- Maintain sterile environments and inventory for emergency procedures
- Document patient encounters using Epic EMR systems
- Support family inquiries during off-hours with empathy and professionalism
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- 1+ years healthcare or patient coordination experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail during high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs overnight
