Responsibilities
- Lead & Mentor: Supervise and motivate the night shift team, providing guidance and support to ensure high productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily workflows, inventory control, and logistics processes to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Problem Solving: Address operational issues immediately during the shift and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Reporting: Prepare and review shift reports, including performance metrics and attendance records, for management review.
- Training: Onboard new hires and conduct regular training sessions to ensure all staff are proficient in standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or operational role within logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to work independently and make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirement: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
