As a critical member of our infrastructure team, you will ensure the uptime and reliability of our client networks while enjoying the flexibility of a night shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Monitor server infrastructure and network performance 24/7 using monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.).
- Respond to and resolve Tier 1/2 helpdesk tickets and system alerts during evening hours.
- Conduct routine system backups, patch management, and security updates.
- Document technical issues, root causes, and resolutions in the CMDB.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams and on-call engineers to ensure seamless operations.
- Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or NOC operations.
- Must be available to work nights (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM).
- Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
