Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime during night operations.
- Perform routine patch management, firmware updates, and system diagnostics.
- Respond to and resolve critical network incidents and tickets escalated from the help desk.
- Document all troubleshooting steps, changes, and incidents in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless handover of operational status.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments on internal systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or IT support.
- Valid Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent technical knowledge.
- Experience working in 24/7 operations or night shift environments.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift and carry server equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
