Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs and clinical status throughout night shifts
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments with precision
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and day shift teams
- Maintain sterile environments and medical equipment
- Provide compassionate patient education and support
Qualifications
- Current Virginia Medical Technician certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care
- BLS/CPR certification with willingness to obtain ACLS
- Proven ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Proficient with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
