Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests and patient monitoring during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient data accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid intervention protocols
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and cross-departmental teams
- Maintain sterile environments and equipment calibration
- Provide compassionate patient care during high-acuity overnight periods
Qualifications
- Active NC Medical Technician or CMA certification required
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience preferred
- BLS/ACLS certification with ability to maintain
- Strong attention to detail during overnight hours
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment
- Flexible schedule availability for rotating weekends
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
