Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs, injections, and wound dressing
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and diagnostic tests
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient flow, scheduling, and communication across departments
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and medical supplies
- Handle after-hours patient calls and triage urgent concerns
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic or Athena preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts as needed
