Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during overnight shifts, including vital signs monitoring and medication administration
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and triage urgent overnight cases
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Communicate effectively with day shift teams for seamless care continuity
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Night shift availability and proven reliability during overnight hours
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
