Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during night shift hours (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and diagnostic tests
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform vital signs monitoring and document patient information accurately
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations overnight
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
